Catenary thru Acrylic

The Catenary thru Acrylic clock is shown in a drawing above and a close up photo at left.  This clock is intended to be placed on a flat surface such as a table or mantle.  The suspended shafts pass thru cut round openings in a rectangular piece of acrylic and the chains support the shafts on both sides of the acrylic.

The three clear acrylic gears near the motor allow the time to be set by pulling out the middle acrylic gear to disengage it from the other gears.  This process frees up the top acrylic gear to be rotated until the correct time is achieved.
