| Welcome to Suspended Time! The suspended clock utilizes sprockets and chains for both support and altering speed. A synchronous motor provides timing and power. The clock has many unique features. The clock is hung allowing gravity to determine its shape. The suspended shafts are supported only by chains. The size of the clock can easily be scaled up or down by choosing larger or smaller components. This original concept was patented by its inventor, Larry Fransen, U.S. Patent 5,521,888. |
